Match Report - Tuesday 24th February 

On a cool dry night in Dungarvan GAA grounds, Rathgormack took on Dungarvan under lights in the John Curry U13 Memorial Tournament. Both teams battled from the second the whistle was blown and it was two and a half minutes before Rathgormack opened the scoring with a goal. Dungarvan fought back hard and after another almost five minutes, Dungarvan answered with an equally fantastic goal. Scores built up slowly from there and half time saw Rathgormack ahead by one point on a 3-2 to 2-4 scoreline. The players came out ready to contest the game in what continued to be a brilliant display of football from both teams. A very demanding game ultimately saw Rathgormack come out the victors at 3-10 to 2-5. Thanks to Dungarvan for a thrilling encounter and to all the parents for travelling and supporting the team
